I am a tile installer. I have installed travertine only once on a floor. I have a customer who despite my advice has bought 12×12 polished travertine for her shower. This includes the ceiling as well. I have had to make the bullnose because there is none.
My question is, is white good quality thin set ok for wall installation over Hardie Backer.
