On your slate bathroom what is the color of the granite counters?
What colors are the tiles on the divider? Are the tiles on the floor the same colors as the divider? What a gorgeous bathroom.

Thank you
Kathy K

Greetings from Costa Rica. I'm building a pool and have chosen some beautiful 8 x 8 cobalt blue ceramic tile to use. A local realtor is telling me that tile that the larger sized tile will leak and that I should have used the mosaic glass tile instead. Problem is I don't LIKE the mosaic glass tile. Is there an inherent problem with leaking when using the larger, ceramic tile? Do I need to use a special type of grout, bonding or sealing agent when using the larger tile? Any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don

I am in the process of installing a slate bathroom. I loved your use of different sizes of tile. Beautiful, warm colors. Could you please tell me the type of granite used for the vanity countertops? Thank you! Jill McGuire

i have something similar with the uneven paving stones. the problem is that weeds/grass (from lots of birdseed from the previous tenant) keep taking over mossy grass i plant. what can i use that won't allow itself to be overtaken by these weeds???

Hi,
The Garden featured above is delightful.
We have a huge garden and are about to start a large patio next week and would like to have grass instead of grout so as not to make too stark a contrast between the two. How do we grout with grass? Is there a certain grass seed we can use? Can we use an alternative like camomille? Please advise.
Many thanks. PW, Cornwall.

I am a tile installer. I have installed travertine only once on a floor. I have a customer who despite my advice has bought 12x12 polished travertine for her shower. This includes the ceiling as well. I have had to make the bullnose because there is none.

My question is, is white good quality thin set ok for wall installation over Hardie Backer.
